This website project came to me through a mutual friend. This friend knew the owner of Fashion Brazil and said that she was looking for a web developer to help her with her website. The owner wanted to make her website look more user friendly and professional in an attempt to boost sales.
The owner lived in Auckland and I in Christchurch so this made the website building process quite difficult but we managed to overcome the (technical jargon) language barrier and the location barrier to bring together a nice new theme for wordpress using woo commerce.
During this project I learned a lot about the importance of project management, documenting requirements, working with a client and the scoping process. I was working on this project outside of work hours and I was also quite new to working with woo commerce and building a functional website for a client.
The owner of Fashion Brazil has since created a new website but please check out her new website. She sells some pretty cool activewear
